Charles Hollis

Charles joined Aperio in 2024 as Head of Strategic Intelligence.

Charles was previously Managing Director of Falanx Assynt, a provider of Geopolitical Risk and Strategic Intelligence, which subsequently merged with a US technology company to form Torchlight AI.

Charles began his career in the British Diplomatic Service and served in Jordan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Iran, as well as at the UK Mission to the United Nations in New York. From 2005 to 2010, Charles was Head of Kroll Associates’ Middle East Practice, before becoming Director General of the Middle East Association, the UK’s leading MENA focused trade association. From 2012 to 2016, he was a Managing Director at FTI Consulting in the Global Risks and Investigations Practice, where he advised on market entry, business intelligence and investigations, as well as political risk and government affairs.

Charles has an MA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
